Help Plant Gospel Seeds in North Africa

In spite of arrests and church closures, with much prayer and fasting native Christian workers shared the gospel in both broadcast recordings and personal discussions as they planted several home fellowships. One worker visited a man dying from a liver disease. After he lay hands on him and prayed, the man left the hospital 11 days later completely healed, and he and 35 relatives put their faith in Christ. A Muslim sheikh (Islamic teacher) who asked for prayer for his lame leg also received healing prayer and accepted Christ. Donations are sought for such gospel work. Pray the Lord’s protection over workers, and that He would free Christians on trial for their faith.
Provide Food and Compassionate Aid in Sri Lanka

The number of children arriving hungry at a native Christian ministry’s primary school grew amid economic and social unrest, and workers provided them with lunches of nutritious rice and curry. “The mid-day meal is the most important one in Sri Lanka, and we are glad that we are able to feed these children,” the ministry leader said. “The parents too are happy that their children receive a nutritious meal.” Workers also provided families going hungry with food boxes. Some of the children at the school are orphans living with grandparents too poor to feed themselves. Donations are sought for food and other compassionate aid. Pray such aid will open more hearts to the gospel.
Support Gospel Outreach in Iraq

In evangelism training for Christians who were raised as Muslims, new believers from every province enjoyed fellowship as they learned how to share the Bible with Muslims. Native ministry workers also taught them ways for Christians of Muslim upbringing to meet the dangers of living in Islamic society in a way pleasing to the Lord. Students facing such dangers also learned from each other. “There were great testimonies for those present,” the ministry leader said. “All of them, without exception, face the danger of death.” Donations are needed for such evangelism and discipleship training, Bibles and gospel outreach. Pray for the safety of workers and new believers.
Help Spread the Kingdom Message in Pakistan

Villagers labor long hours as indentured servants, working off insurmountable debt making kiln-fired bricks. Their children are trapped in the cycle of poverty but receive hope in Christ through Sunday schools that native Christian workers provide in various villages. Recently teams of evangelists visiting villages also shared the gospel with many people, distributing Bibles and planting four house churches in remote areas that more than 200 people now attend. Donations of $25 or $50 are sought for such evangelistic outreach and follow-up. Pray for opportunities for children to break the cycle of poverty.
Help Care for Orphans and the Poor in Chad

Impoverished orphans and children whose parents are too poor to care for them have recovered their lives through a native ministry’s orphanage, which provides them schooling, three meals a day and health care. Another native ministry assists 100 poor, abandoned or orphaned children with education, food and medical care, in many cases also providing maize or rice for their families. Donations of $35 or $70 are sought to provide such care and other compassionate aid. Pray that the Lord would touch lives in a way that breaks the cycle of poverty.
Help Plant Churches in North Africa

Working in a strict Muslim country, native Christian workers had the experience to safely share the gospel with many people as they visited 21 villages last year, 10 of them previously unreached. They planted 91 secret house churches, each with five to 10 members, in 12 villages. They also had opportunities to share Christ in sports activities and humanitarian outreaches. “Many villages have been affected, and many have found salvation by accepting Jesus as Savior,” the ministry leader said. “A great light has enlightened minds in many villages.” Workers need donations for such gospel work. Workers request prayer for protection and an end to drought.
Equip Workers to Share the Gospel in Mexico

Through Bible studies, Sunday schools and other outreaches, native Christian workers are proclaiming the Good News. A 15-year-old girl at-risk from a troubled family came to a ministry’s orphanage and recently accepted Christ. “We have been able to share the gospel with her, and her life has been transformed,” the ministry leader said. Another girl, 13, has been attending a ministry church with her father for two years. “Her love for the Lord makes others strive to seek to meet and feed on the Word of God,” the leader said. Donations are sought for such gospel work. Pray the Lord would open more people’s hearts to their need for the Savior.
Provide Critical Aid to Refugees in Europe

A refugee in her 30s with serious health problems and no documents was lost and depressed. Native Christian workers helped her register for asylum and get medical help, and they referred her to an organization that provided shelter and training in job skills. The native ministry retained responsibility for part of her food bills. When workers visited her later, “she was a transformed individual!” the ministry leader said. “She was full of joy and interacting with others.” Donations of $35 or $70 are needed to provide such aid to refugees in various parts of Europe. Pray those who have fled their homelands will sense God watching over them.
Support Workers Leading People to Christ in China

Regional supervisors in 13 areas are establishing Bible classes that are bringing many people closer to the Lord. Utilizing their native ministry’s curriculum, workers have established new classes in seven provinces, bringing the number of groups to more than 800. “One sister is still traveling to train co-workers, conduct classes and accommodate the needs of different churches around the world,” the ministry leader said. A student remarked how he learned to trust the Lord as the course taught him how Daniel submitted to God’s plans. Donations of $60 or $120 are needed for workers to carry out such gospel work and discipleship. Team members request prayer for their personal safety.
Help Enable Gospel Proclamation in the Philippines

Praise God that outreaches to various tribes are building God’s kingdom as native Christian workers share the gospel in Bible studies, Vacation Bible School and personal conversations. New Christians have shown marked growth in discipleship; one village elder whose son was jailed on murder charges said he would have retaliated had he not become a Christian. “Thank you also that you missionaries are here to encourage me to follow what we have studied in the Bible, that we need to humble ourselves, for in due time God will lift us up,” he said. Workers need donations to share the gospel and follow up with new Christians. Pray that churches will work together in harmony.
