Help Bring Gospel Transformation in China

A man living in a remote area of towering mountains had been born with deformed legs, and when he contracted COVID-19, native Christian workers who knew him from prior aid deliveries covered his medical bills and living expenses.

Help Find, Vet and Evaluate Native Workers

Native Christian workers have something crucial for communicating the gospel that foreign missionaries can hardly attain: inherent knowledge of the worldview held by the people they’re reaching. The workers know not only the nuance of language of their own people but the worldview with which they grow up, so important for best presenting the transforming grace that Christ offers. And unlike foreign missionaries, native workers do not run the risk of getting kicked out of their countries for leading people to Christ. Please consider a donation today to help us find, vet and evaluate effective native workers. Pray the grace and peace of God will reign in the hearts of unreached peoples.

Help Change Lives with the Gospel in Greece

An Iranian refugee who had received help from native workers three years ago and left the country recently returned on a visit to thank them for the help – and the gospel – that he and a friend received. Accepted as a refugee in Switzerland, he told workers that his Christian journey began with their assistance in getting him a Skype appointment with asylum officials. His friend, also now a Christian, said his journey began then as well, adding, “There is something holy here that you feel when you enter. This place is both a church and an organization.” Workers need donations to share the gospel with such refugees and others. Pray the Lord would continue to anoint the ministry.

Help the Unreached Find God in Laos

A 28-year-old woman wondered if she had offended local spirits or failed to sacrifice enough to them, as neither they nor doctors had healed her of an illness. A native Christian worker visiting her village told her that Christ had the power to heal her, and she invited Him into her life. She obtained relief after workers prayed for her, her health much improved over time and she stopped fearing spirits. When she shared her testimony with others in her neighborhood, five people accepted Christ. In another village, a worker held a Bible seminar where nearly 20 people put their faith in Christ. Workers need donations of $25 or $50 to share the gospel and disciple new believers. Pray for God’s protection over them.

Give the Lost a Chance for Salvation in South Asia

Traveling nine hours by car, native Christian workers recently reached a town where a local church member had organized a meeting on her rooftop; many of her non-Christian friends and relatives were gathered. “The session was very anointed and blessed,” the ministry leader said. “Many people surrendered their lives for Jesus.” The Lord has been doing amazing things. “It has honestly been hard to keep up with sometimes, but we are just so excited for what is happening, and what is still to come,” the leader said. Such workers in the region need donations to share Christ and disciple new believers. Pray the truth of the Lord’s salvation would liberate more troubled hearts.

Help Turn the Degenerate into Disciples in Tanzania

At a native ministry’s four-day evangelistic event, several women prone to heavy drinking and adultery put their faith in Christ, and they have left their vices and joyfully participate in church worship services. Native workers shared the gospel in various ways, including home visits and praying for the sick. Among those saved was a young Muslim and his wife. “I thank the church for remembering to bring us the word of salvation through Jesus Christ,” he said. The ministry planted five churches over a span of six months. Workers need donations to share the gospel and disciple those who believe. Pray for protection from the spiritual attacks that come with effective kingdom work.

Help Send the Gospel to the Unreached in Bangladesh

A native ministry has sent new workers to share the gospel with two major tribes, joining those already working among six ethnic groups. “We have seen that lives among the people groups have been improving since the native missionaries started working in the three hill districts,” the ministry leader said. “Many people have given up drinking wine and doing bad things. They have been interested to hear the Word of God and to go to the church.” Workers visiting hospitals also have shared the gospel, and another recent outreach resulted in eight tribal people accepting Christ. Donations are sought for such gospel work. Pray the love among the brethren would glorify God.

Provide Evangelism Training and Tools in the Middle East

Coursework for a seminary’s certificate of ministry is offered online, enabling students in the Arab world to participate while working and ministering. The program allows students to choose courses most beneficial for their ministries and contexts. More than 200 students a year enroll in the program, which offers three interactive Zoom sessions in each 11-week course for discussion and a sense of community. Donations are sought for such evangelism and discipleship in the region. Pray that students receive wisdom to balance responsibilities of education, ministry and family.

Help Bring Critical Aid to the Poor in Peru

Impoverished widows, seniors and children, including orphans, from four ethnic groups received deliveries of food, blankets and clothes from native Christian workers. “The elders of the rural communities received the gifts with great emotion and joy, and this can be seen in their faces,” the ministry leader said. “The practice of the tribal native culture is very indifferent; they do not take care of orphaned children and neglect their elderly parents, often leaving them abandoned.” Workers addressed this need with assistance from Christian Aid donors. Donations of $35 or $70 are sought to provide such compassionate aid. Pray the Lord will be glorified in communities receiving aid.

Help Form Biblically Grounded Disciples in China

Native Christian workers receive monthly training to inspire and equip them to explain the Good News. They have set up Bible studies in the homes of various church members who then invite non-Christian relatives and friends to join them, presenting natural opportunities to share the gospel. Visits to widows, the poor and the sick have also brought opportunities to proclaim Christ. “Through our visits and support, some families have come to know the gospel,” the ministry leader said. Workers need donations for such gospel work. Pray that people will become aware of their need for salvation.
