Prayer Helps Transform a Killer and a Town in Kenya

Church members and community leaders were praying for safety when a young man burst in and confessed to raping and killing six young women. The local missionaries and other leaders prayed for deliverance and salvation as the man’s anguished cries drew more people to the meeting tent – including some bent on lynching him and burning his body.

Among those saved were two women who left their habits of drunkenness and witchcraft. Workers in various regions shared the gospel and provided water wells, schools and medical services. “Your support through medical provision has helped us so much that doors have been opened to people in several ways and the gospel accepted,” the ministry leader said.
